CLAYTON - Linda Louise Wothers of Clayton passed away, Wednesday, Jun. 21, 2017, at home.
Mrs. Wothers was born May 31, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pa. to Lillian (Johnston) Lloyd and the late George Lloyd.
She worked as a dietary aide for Crest Farms Nursing Home. Mrs. Wothers had worked at one time at Leagers Restaurant on Pearson's Corner Road, Hartly and Bella Villa, Smyrna. She was the center and rock of the family, always there to help her family.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lecates.
She is survived by her mother, Lillian Lloyd of Clayton; children, Lisa Snow (Harvey) of Clayton, George D. Reed of Goldsboro, Md., Dawn Dixon (Frank) of Selbyville, Linda McKnight "Jr." of Hartly, Christopher Wothers of Clayton, Ella Wothers of Greensboro, Md. and Tyler Lecates of Clayton; brother, George Lloyd (Barbara); sisters, Deborah Lane (Jimmy), Denise Aiken Devito (Joseph) all of Hartly; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and her companion for 16 years, Robert Kish of Clayton.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jun. 27, 2017, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray funeral expenses.
