FELTON - Linda L. Horton of Felton, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, in Christiana Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 66. She was born in Charleston, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret Poff Owsley. She was a homemaker. She loved to play spades and loved spending time with her family, she especially adored her grandchildren. Her family was her life. She also loved her three dogs, Katie, Coco and Sadie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Horton on Aug. 20, 2002, She is survived by her children, Rick Messer and Sharon Sweetman, Michael Messer and his wife Denise, Steve Horton, Angela Horton Yun and her husband Mark Yun, Mark Horton and his wife Christina, Tina Horton and Sean Disalvo and Kaye Messer; grandchildren, Jeremy Messer, Ashley Rentz, Sophia Sweetman, Alexis Horton, Michael and Angela Messer, Angela Faith Evans, and Daniel and Chris Yun; brothers, Dexter and Danny Owsley. Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
