Linda J. Woolwine

DOVER - Linda J. Woolwine, 64 of Dover, and previously of Pasadena, Md. passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Mrs. Woolwine was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel King. She was born in Baltimore, Md. and grew up in the Clear Water community of Pasadena, Md. She graduated from Severna Park High School in 1965 and went to work for the Social Security Administration. During her lifetime she ran a day care center and was a Cosmetologist in Tan Line Tanning Salon which she owned with her husband. She was a long time member of Orchard Beach Ladies Auxiliary and the Goldsboro, Md. auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, crabbing, fishing, camping, going out to dinner and her four Shih Tzu dogs. In addition to her parents and grand parents she was preceded in death by her cousin and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gene Woolwine; son, Bryan Woolwine of Dover; and her daughter, Michelle King of Richmond, Va. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Aryn Woolwine of Dover, Alexander, Bryan Jr. and Kamron Woolwine of Glen Burnie, Md. and Courtney, Sara and Lauren King of Bethlehem, Pa. Memorial service will be held at St. Jane Frances Church in Pasadena. Date not yet determined. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to the Delaware Hospice Center 911 South DuPont Hwy.
