LEWES - Linda Irene Harmon Wheeler died on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. after a brief illness. Born in Lewes on Jun. 22, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Leon J. Harmon, Sr. and Sarah Johnson Harmon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Wheeler, Sr. She grew up and spent her entire life in Sussex County. Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and George Harmon; and her companion and friend, Anthony Duffy. She will be lovingly remembered by: one son, Donald Lee Wheeler; one daughter, Sarah C. Wheeler (fiancé, Charles E. Wright, Sr.); a devoted brother, Leon Mickey Harmon; three other brothers, Leon J. Harmon, Jr., Rodney E. Harmon and Robert W. (Rosalyn) Harmon; two sisters, Marion Harmon and Sarah C. (Daniel) Snipes; one aunt, Gladys Street; one sister-in-law, Mildred Harmon; four grandchildren, Donshay, Justin, Sierra, and Mariah Wheeler; a devoted niece, Pamela Coleman; several other relatives and friends. Mrs. Wheeler will lie in repose on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, from 11 AM to 1 PM at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery, Millsboro. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury, Md.
