HARTLY - Lillian L. Lloyd passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017.
Mrs. Lloyd was born Dec. 9, 1937 in Kensington, Pa. to the late Clara Dennis and Lois Johnston.
Mrs. Lloyd worked at Vanholden's Pickle Factory in Kenton, and Leads Luggage Service. She also worked as a cook for Legers Restaurant on Pearsons Corner Road, Cresent Farm and Courtland Manor, holding a management position in Courtland Manor and having the duty of cafeteria ordering. She loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Lloyd was also a fan of soap operas, television and playing cards, particularly solitaire.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husband, George Lloyd in 1998; and daughters, Lillian Lloyd in 1975 and Linda Wothers, in June of 2017.
She is survived by her son, George Lloyd (Barbra); daughters, Deborah Lane (Jimmie) and Denise Aiken Devito (Joseph) all of Hartly; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
