SEAFORD - Lillian Hall Mitchell departed this life on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at her residence. Born in Mappsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Burless Hall, Sr. and Janie Conquest Hall. Her husband, Alfred N. Mitchell, Sr., also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Bible Church of Christ, where she served as a Missionary and President of the Usher Ministry.
Prior to retiring, she was employed by Indian River School District.
She will be lovingly remembered by three sons, Alfred N. Mitchell, Jr. (Anita), Craig Hudson, and Lamont Mitchell (Nichelle); three daughters, Chiquita G. Hall, Shavonne Williams, and Lisa Johnson; two brothers, Burless Hall, Jr. and Ronald Hall, Sr.; four sisters, Evelyn Waples, Helena Harmon, Alfreda Johnson, and Margaret Conquest; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several godchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin Hall, Sr., David Hall, and Alvin Hall, and one granddaughter, Tabitha Hall.
Mrs. Mitchell will lie in repose on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bible Church of Christ, 28773 W. Diamond Drive, Dagsboro. The funeral service will begin 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Old Fields Cemetery, Millsboro. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N.
