SMYRNA - Lillian F. Tickle passed away peacefully at home with her family on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Mrs. Tickle was born February 27, 1935, in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of the late James Calvin Bradford and Irene Gaunt Bradford. She was a homemaker whom enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Tickle; two sons, Kenneth L. Tickle, Sr., and Cecil L. Mann; and a daughter, Cynthia J. Fries. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Krisher of Fayetteville, N.C., Sandra Kemp of Wilmington, Del. and Tina Williams of Smyrna, with whom she lived with; 13 grandchildren, Alicia, Shawna, Kendra, Angela, Jenna, Kenneth, Jr., Angelica, Tammy, Scott, Melissa, Billy, Catrina, and Treasa,; as well as 14 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna, Del. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
