Lillian F. Foraker

Lillian F. Foraker, 84 TOWNSEND - Lillian F. Foraker, 84, of Townsend, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was born on June 18, 1925, in Maryland, to the late Nattie and Virgie May Cook Pleasanton. Formerly of the Dover and Frederica area, she moved to Townsend. She worked for the Middletown School District, State of Delaware and DPL as a cafeteria worker and retired in 2001. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by son and his wife, Lester and Sarah Foraker of Townsend; daughter, Barbara Currey of Washington; granddaughter, Megan McBride; and brothers, Bill Pleasanton of Dover, and Howard Pleasanton of Hartly. Remembrance Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the Barratts Chapel Cemeterym Frederica. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice, 911 Lotus Plaza, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
