Something must be done about the U.S. Postal Service. I sent a first-class, return receipt-requested letter Feb. 12 to the Military Retired Pay Office in Indianapolis. Tracking information as of 2 p.m. March 6 indicates that the letter is lost in transit, with the last data posted Feb. 17, and indicates the mail will be arriving late.
So I spent nearly $8 for my mail to be treated as garbage and with no concern by the USPS for Priority Mail. I should have used UPS.
It is a waste to pay extra money for your important mail to be treated in this matter.
