Letha M. Price, 79 GEORGETOWN - Letha Mae Price, daughter of the late Clinton and Catty Cave was born in Kline, S.C., on Aug. 8, 1930. She departed this life April 5, 2010, in Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. She was 79 years of age. Letha Mae was employed by Draper Canning Company for 26 years as a production worker. She married Aron Price, Sr. on September 7, 1950 in Fruitland, Md. To this union of forty-three years, they had eight children. Letha Mae was educated in Barnwell County School District, Barnwell, S.C., where she completed the 6th grade. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Milton, where she served on the Women's Fellowship Committee. She enjoyed sitting and talking with her children, grandchildren and friends. She especially enjoyed shopping and going to the casino. She loved cooking for her family. She would do "whatever, whenever" for her children and helped to raise grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her house was everyone's house! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aron; and her daughter, Cathy Mae. Letha Mae leaves to cherish her precious memories, five sons, Charles B. Cave, Sr. (Mary) and Teddy Price (Gwen) of Georgetown, Sammie L. Price, Sr. of Georgetown, Alfonzo Price of Milton, and Aron Price, Jr., (Yvonne) of Cape Charles, Va.; two daughters, Janie M. Price of Georgetown, and Kymisha R. Price of Milton; one son-in-law, Wayne Massey of Smyrna; sisters-in-law, Marie Spivey (Arzell) and Emma Dukes (Henry) of Milton, Minnie Brooks (Leon) of Baltimore, Md.; brothers-in-law, Angus Price of Salisbury, Md., Isom Scott and Jerry (Viola) Price of Eden, Md.; 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 10, at the St. John Second Baptist Church, Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the First Congregational Church Cemetery, Milton. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook may be signed at www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com Arrangements were handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Milford.
