HARRINGTON - Lester William Fountain Jr., died Thursday, October 22, 2009, in Christiana Hospital. He was 53. Mr. Fountain was born in Milford, the son of the late Lester William Fountain Sr. and Edna (Tribbett) Fountain. He worked for 14 years making donuts at the Hi-Grade in Harrington. He then went to work at Taylor & Messick, where he worked for several years. He was a member of the East Coast Truckers and enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He also enjoyed having a barbecue for his friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Fountain; his maternal grandparents, Isaac and Hazel Tribbett; his paternal grandmother, Pauline Fountain Mosley; and an uncle, Elwood Fountain. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Tribbett and his wife Theresa of Wilmington; two aunts, Marie Davis and Evelyn Fountain, both of Harrington; a niece, Tesnashaye Fountain of Dover; a special cousin, Jerry Maurice Fountain of Harrington; a host of cousins; and his extended family, Jimmy and Linda Messick and their family. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at St. Paul's A.M.E. Church, 103 West Mispillion St., Harrington, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Burial will be in Williamsville Cemetery, Harrington. Arrangements by McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, Harrington.
