FELTON - Lester "Tony" R. Smith, II passed away on December 20, 2022 at Bayhealth, Dover, DE of heart failure. Tony was born June 29, 1966, in Milford, DE to the late Lester R. Smith and survived by his mother, Dorothy Carroll of Felton, DE.
Tony served in the Marines for four years. He was a mason for over 40 years. He was a man of few words yet he was also a man that everyone knew. He loved racing, camping, and bbq's with family and friends. He was a dedicated husband and devoted father of seven.
Tony is survived by his wife, Sherri Gallo Smith of Felton, DE; his children, Jessica Collins of Winter Haven, FL, Michael Zimmer, II of Wilmington, DE, Bobby Zimmer of Harrington, DE, Aaron Zimmer of Winter Haven, FL, Tabatha Howard of LaVergne, TN, Toni Calvanesa of Dover, DE, and Lacey Duckworth of Beaufort, SC; brothers, Michael Smith of Greenwood, DE and Robert Smith of Greenwood, DE; sister, Peggy Steele of Farmington, DE; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral Service Tuesday, January 3, 2023, 12 Noon at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming DE; where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors to follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
