Leroy Foster, 74 DOVER - Deacon Leroy Foster departed this life March 12, 2010, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. He was 74. Deacon Foster was born in Spartanburg, S.C., on March 17, 1935, the third of 10 children. He was a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church, taught new member classes, a member of the IMA Men's chorus and the Mighty Men of Song of Calvary. He was active until his health began to fail. A kind, humble soul has taken a flight to a better place. Viewing and service will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 18, at Calvary Baptist Church, Queen and Fulton Streets, Dover. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 9 a.m. at the Community Baptist Church, 111-08 141st Street, South Ozone Park, New York.
