Leroy B. Myers Jr.

CAMDEN - Leroy B. Myers Jr., of Camden, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, in Bayhealth Kent General Hospital. He was 60. Mr. Myers was born Sept. 20, 1950, in Dover, to the late Leroy and Sarah Myers. He worked most recently as a sales representative for Pep-Up Incorporated. Prior to that, he worked for MGS Propane in Milford. From 1991-99 Leroy owned and operated Marilee Bike Rental in Rehoboth Beach. He also owned Water Street Sports and Greyhound Roller Hockey Rink in Dover. Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Terry Myers of Camden; stepsons, Erik Kaufmann and his wife Jennifer of Lewes, and Mark Kaufmann of Wilmington; brother, Robert Myers of Philadelphia, Pa.; and sister, Dorothy Myers of Philadelphia. A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 East Lebanon Rd., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
