LCpl Martell Daymore McInnis

MAGNOLIA - LCpl Martell Daymore McInnis passed away suddenly in Elkton, Md. on Dec. 22, 2017. Martell was born in Elizabethtown, Ky. to Teresa Butcher and Marquis McInnis. He was currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Martell was a proud graduate of Positive Outcome Academy and attended Barstow Community College. He enlisted in the United State Marine Corps in 2015. When asked about his service to our country, LCpl McInnis' family shared, "…there are no words to describe how proud and dedicated Martell was to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps." Those who knew him know he loved weightlifting, practicing at the rifle range, playing video games, working out and spending time with family and friends.
Martell is survived by his mother, Teresa Butcher; father, Marquis McInnis; siblings, Toris Thompkins, Marcus McInnis, Alishia Carr, Anthony McInnis and Corey McInnis; his grandparents, Gladys Catchings, Lila Jones and Earl Butcher, Jr.; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, fellow Marines and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sherman Catchings; and brothers, Devin and Brandon McInnis.
Viewing Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, 11 a.m. until time of funeral service with military honors 12 p.m. at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Final Interment at a later date Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
