FELTON, DE - Lauren P. Callahan passed away Monday, May 15th, 2023, at home.
She was born July 31st, 1963, in Irwin, Pennsylvania, to Edward Green and Lucille Turner.
Lauren was self employed and owned a cleaning company; also, she was a part time server at IHop. She enjoyed spending time at the beach. She loved being with her grandchildren and making memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Whitehair; her stepson, David Whitehair, Jr.; and her brother, James Green.
Lauren is survived by her three daughters and their families, Ashley and Timothy Kane of Sicklerville, NJ, Jasmin and Jacob Custer of Lancaster, PA, and Chelsea Davis of Felton, Delaware; her stepson, Jacob Whitehair; her sister, Debra and brother-in-law Stephen Wunderley of Conway, SC; and six grandchildren, Karter, Karson, Kennedy Kane, Athena Dacorte, Benjamin Custer, and Salem Von Essen.
Services will be held on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, at 1:00 pm, at The Presbyterian Church of Dover, 54 South State Street, Dover, Delaware, 19901. Rev. Dr. Mark Parsons will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Presbyterian Church of Dover.
