FRANKFORD - Laura C. Layton, 86, of Frankford, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010. She is survived by a son, Alvin G. Layton and wife Brenda; a daughter, Lana R. Bowden and husband Wayne; three grandchildren, George E. Layton and wife Susan, Rhonda B. Dixon and husband Rodger, and Howard W. Bowden II and wife Melanie; two great-grandchildren, Rylee N. Dixon and Mason R. Bowden. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23, at St. George's United Methodist Church in Clarksville. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m., at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services. Interment will be in the St. George's Church Cemetery in Clarksville.
