Are you a rising leader looking to make a lasting impact in central Delaware? The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce is offering a final opportunity to apply for their prestigious Diamond Program — Leadership Central Delaware Class of 2026. This comprehensive program is designed to cultivate the region’s future leaders through community engagement and professional development. If this sparks your interest, don’t delay — this is your last chance to submit your application. Please note that applicants must be CDCC members.
LCD is seeking motivated individuals from diverse backgrounds who are committed to making a difference in central Delaware. Whether you are a young professional, an experienced executive or a community volunteer, if you have a passion for leadership and a desire to contribute to the region’s growth and prosperity, while broadening your network, this program is for you.
LCD is not just a program, it’s an experience that transforms participants into effective community leaders. Over the course of 10 months, members will engage in monthly sessions covering various aspects of leadership, including government, health care, education and economic development and more. Participants will gain invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing central Delaware, network with influential community leaders, and develop the skills necessary to drive positive change. Upon successfully completing the program, students will graduate and receive their diploma as they walk across the stage at the CDCC’s Awards for Excellence Celebration held in June.
Classmates will think and act critically about what it means to be a leader while honing the necessary skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, delegation, goal setting and innovative thinking. All this is accomplished while having some serious fun along the way.
The application process is competitive, and interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. An in-person interview will be conducted. The deadline for applications is rapidly approaching, and only a limited number of spots are still available.
If you or someone you know could benefit from the Leadership Central Delaware program, please do not hesitate to apply or share. For more information about LCD, the CDCC or how to apply, contact the CDCC office at 302-734-7513 or visit www.cdcc.net.
