Lance Carl Shehorn

Camden-Wyoming - Lance passed away suddenly on Jan. 20, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Bainbridge, Md. to the late Elvin and Corrine (Graves) Shehorn. Lance was the patriarch of his family. He was a kind, caring, and very giving man. He would help anyone that was in need. He attended Caesar Rodney School District as a child and played several sports. He worked for Fraley & Schilling Trucking Company at the time of his death. He is survived by his daughter Christal Greenly and her husband Rick, son Steven Shehorn, and son Michael Shehorn and wife Nicole. In addition his brothers: Barry Shehorn, Richard Shehorn, Thomas Shehorn, and Dale Shehorn. As well as his sisters: Cheryl Tripp, Sharon Kemp, and Donna Thomas. He also had eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was a lifelong over the road truck driver that enjoyed going to Dover Downs Slots, being outdoors, gardening, building things, tinkering around the house, and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 12 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
