DOVER - Kylie Ferrel Roseborough passed away suddenly at the Christiana Hospital on Jan. 1, 2013. Kylie was born on Aug. 26, 1977 to William and Leah Cook in Talbot County, Md. Kylie was an amazing woman who made friends easily. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her friends and loved to help people. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and worked as a Life Guard. She was a member of the Compassionate Friends Network, as well as the Friends of Wilmington High School, and the Cape Henlopen High School Alumni Class of 1995. Kylie loved to learn, and earned her Associates degree in Travel and Tourism. She was also awarded numerous certifications from the Delaware State Fire School in fire suppression, rescue, and Emergency Medical Services. Kylie loved life and all its whimsy. She enjoyed surf-fishing, watching European "foot ball", her favorite team being "Manchester United". She was also an avid Red Sox fan, and in the off season, she could be found watching the Bravo channel almost 24 hours a day. Over this past summer, she was employed by the Pirates of Lewes, acting as an entertainer with the vessel, the Sea Gypsy V. She is preceded in death by her son, Aiden David Cherry; and her beloved grandparents. Kylie is survived by her husband, Matthew Roseborough; her four children including her daughter, Madeline Fitler (16) of Houston, daughters, Abigail Chanclor (15) and Julia Chanclor (14) both of Inwood, W.Va.; her son, Liam Schilling Cherry (7) of Bloomingdale, N.J. and she is also remembered by her biological father, William "Cookie" Cook, of Lewes; her mother, Leah Flynn; her adoptive father, Richard Flynn; and her brother, Richie Flynn of Md. Kylie considered Kathy Mosby of Millsboro, as one of the most special persons in her life, and considered her to be her second mother. A gathering for Kylie will take place at the Farmington Fire Hall, located at 20920 S. Dupont Hwy, Farmington, DE, on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at 1 p.m., services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at the Bloomery Cemetery in Smithville, MD.
