Kyle P. Pianka, 26 ELLENDALE - Kyle P. Pianka, age 26, of Ellendale, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, in his home. Kyle worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. Kyle had an adventurous spirit. He enjoyed hard work, fishing and workouts at the gym. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Brown, Sr. and Weldon Pianka; and his great-grandparents, August and Ola Pianka. Kyle is survived by a daughter, Brooke Britton; his mother, Rhonda Brown of North Port, Fla.; father, Gregory Pianka Sr. of Jamesville, Wis.; his grandmother whom he adored, Patsy Brown, with whom he lived; two brothers, Greg Pianka of Milton, and Kurt Pianka, also of Jamesville, Wis.; paternal grandmother, Joan Pianka of Seaford; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, including Wayne, Ray, Desi and Rayne, to whom he was very close. He is also survived by a dear friend, Bob Johnson. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call after noon. Burial will follow at Henlopen Memorial Park.
