HARRINGTON - Kurt L. Dietiker, of Harrington, passed away peacefully at the young age of 68 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, from cancer. Kurt was born Oct. 22, in Delta, Ohio, served in the U.S. Navy, returned to Washington, DC where he met and married his beloved wife Ingrid of 46 years. They raised their family in Willingboro, retired to Harrington, and Cape Canaveral, Fla. He traveled the world as a computer consultant, enjoyed tinkering in his garage/barn, auctions, plowing the fields, boating, fishing, flying model airplanes, a good Chinese all you can eat and his black lab Bailey!! He is survived by his wife, Ingrid M (Sachse); daughter, Tracy Wilhelm, Marlton, N.J.; son, Kai Dietiker and daughter-in-law Tina, Swedesboro, N.J.; four grandsons that lit up his life, Drew and Kyle Wilhelm, Kai and Gavin Dietiker; sister, Kay Durham and brother-in-law, John both of Merritt Island, Fla.; and many friends. A celebration of his Life was held Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, 4 to 6 p.m., at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kurt may be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, www.delawarehospice.org.
