Kevin Michael Kiefer passed away on December 26, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Kevin was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Diane Kiefer.
Born in Copiague, New York on May 2, 1954, he was the son of Caroline (Kaczmarek) and Joseph Kiefer. Kevin was a TSGT in the USAF where he was a Machinist and retired in Dover, DE.
Kevin was an avid animal lover and could often be fount creating the most amazing fish aquariums in his home. His recent masterpiece, in which he was so proud, was a Discus tank that he could be found admiring for hours in his living room. He had a chicken coop in the yard that he and his two sons, Michael, and Douglas, built together. He raised hens and roosters from chicks and often shared fresh eggs with everyone that came to visit. Kevin could always be seen with a companion dog by his side and most recently had two family cats that kept him company each night as he settled in for bed.
What Kevin was most recently remembered for was his absolute love and passion for his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Danielle (Jason) Tadeo, Michael (Casia) Kiefer, and Douglas (Stacey) Kiefer. He was Grandpa and Papa K to Madison Elizabeth, Samantha Lynn, RaeLyn Serenity, Wesley Scott, William Reid, Dakota Lynn, and Willow Victoria.
