Kevin Lee Flannery

Kevin Lee Flannery, 57 JUNO BEACH, Fla. - Kevin Lee Flannery of Juno Beach, died Feb. 6, 2010, at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He was 57. He was born Sept. 16, 1952, in to Verda Kringen Flannery and the late Rod Flannery. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, he served in the United States Navy and then as a pilot for U.S. Airways for 25 years. Mr. Flannery enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. Besides his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Kim Busby. Mr. Flannery is survived by his mother, Verda Flannery of Wessington Springs, S.D.; two sons, Bryan Flannery of Magnolia, Del., and Sean Flannery of Juno Beach; daughter, Erin Flannery of Hartly, Del.; brother, Kelly Flannery of Rapid City, S.D.; two sisters, Karen Weiss of Parkston, S.D., and Kris McMullin of Ft. Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kent County SPCA, 34 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
