Kent County taking applications for opioid settlement funds

Posted

DOVER — Applications now are open for the Delaware Prescription Opioid Settlement Distribution Commission’s Local Government Grant Program. Kent County Levy Court encourages local governments, nonprofits and community partners to apply for the funding, which will distribute more than $30 million over the next 12 years to Delaware’s 10 eligible subdivisions, including Kent County and the municipalities of Dover, Smyrna and Milford.
Eligible subdivisions and their community partners may apply through April 24. Organizations first must complete Kent County’s Public Interest Form. Selected organizations will then be invited to complete a formal, comprehensive application through a private portal. For details, visit the county's website. For statewide program information, go to the opioid settlement website.
