FRANKFORD - Kenneth J. Hartenstine, formerly of Jeffersonville, Pa., died Monday, October 12, 2009. He was 62. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Theresa (Matteoli) Hartenstine; a son, Kenneth J. Hartenstine Jr.; a daughter, Alisha Hartenstine; a brother, Burton Hartenstine; a sister, Shirley Simpson; and a grandson, Blaze. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 16, at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, where friends and family may call after 1 p.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Kenneth's name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
