Kenneth H. Jobes, 85

MILLSBORO - Kenneth H. Jobes, of Millsboro, passed away Feb. 10, 2009, in Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was 85. He had been a self-employed demolition technician. He was known as the "Gentle Wrecker" from his business associates. He was a practical joker, beloved father and a good man. His companion of 22 years, Aliene Betts Miller; one son, Kenneth R. Jobes and wife Trudy survives him. An adopted sister Vicky Higgins also survives him. He leaves to cherish his memory three grandchildren, Dara, Dana, and Melissa. Services were held on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home 211 Washington Street Millsboro, Delaware where Rev. Ed Wilkins officiated. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice Center 100 Patriots Way Milford, DE 19963.
