MILFORD - Mr. Kenneth F. Novak, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008. He was 78. He operated the Causey Mansion Bed and Breakfast with his wife, the Secondhand Prose bookstore, and was involved with the farmers' market, all in Milford, for many years. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Novak. He is survived by his wife, Frances E. Robinson Novak; daughter, Nancy Ferreira; two sons, Garry (his wife Jacqueline), and Barry Novak; grandchildren, Joe Whitehair, and Michael and Deborah Ferreira; a great-grandson, Jordan Arndt; and a sister, Myrna Joy. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD 20707, where services will be 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Stephanie Vader presiding. Burial is private. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Wesleyan University, Office of Institutional Advancement, 100 E. Claflin Ave., Salina, KS 67401-6196.
