Kenneth Alan 'Kenny' Strain, 18

CAMDEN - Kenneth Alan "Kenny" Strain, of Camden, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009. He was 18. Kenny was born on July 26, 1991, in Burlington, N.J. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 2009 and was currently a student at DelTech studying graphic arts. Kenny enjoyed art and computers. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Janie Mae and Jesse Albert Stallings; and aunt, Renee Stallings He is survived by his parents, Mavis (Stallings) and Merlin Strain Jr.; a sister, Kimberly Nicole Strain; and a brother, Jonathan Eric Strain both of home; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Shirley Brown of Largo, Md.; an aunt, Ava Stallings of Dover; and uncles, Anthony Maurice Stallings and Brian Eric Stallings, both of Spotsylvania, Va., Larry Strain and his wife Diane of Lincoln, and David Hardy of Wilmington. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be noon Saturday, Oct. 3, at First Pilgrim Church, 6 Miles Lane, Camden, where friends may also call two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
