Kay Kelley Ollivier

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Kay Kelley Ollivier of Chestertown, Md. died on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Chestertown Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chestertown, Md. She was 80. Born on June 14, 1934 in Massey, Md., she was the daughter of the late James Russell Kelley, Sr. and Evelyn Palmatory Kelley. Mrs. Ollivier was a retired nursing home operator, contractor and administrator. Mrs. Ollivier loved life and the people she encountered during her life. She enjoyed being a caregiver and found her career very rewarding. She also enjoyed quite times and family. Mrs. Ollivier was a member of the Fraternal Order, Peen Laurel Council of Royal Arcanum of Philadelphia, Pa., and a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators. She is survived by one sister, Eileen Dugan of Belair, Md.; one brother, William Donald Kelley Clayton, Del.; and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews as well as great grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clinton Ollivier in 2000; one sister, Norma Boykin; and three brothers, Robert Eugene Kelley, Thomas M. Kelley and James Russell Kelley, Jr. also predecease her. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday February 25, 2015 in the Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St. Millington, Md., where friends and family may call one hour prior (12-1pm). Interment will follow the services in the Massey Cemetery, Massey, Md. Memorial donations instead of flowers can be made in her memory to the Community Volunteer Fire Co., P.O. Box 255, Millington, MD 21651.
