DOVER - Kathy Carla King, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009, in the Delaware Hospice House, Milford. She was 57. She was born on Feb. 29, 1952, in Dover. Kathy was a very special young lady with a very happy and exuberant smile. She at times could be strong willed and could be very independent. She enjoyed watching old movies and television shows especially Little House on the Prairie. She loved the attention and companionship she had with her cat, Tiger. Kathy is survived by her mother, Nancy Wright; her father, Carl King and his wife Carol of Stuart, Fla., and Lewes; brother, Bruce King and his wife Cathy of Lewes; and two half brothers, C.P. King of Lincoln, and David Wright of Norristown, Pa.; Emma "Mom Mom" Harding of Lincoln; nieces and nephews, Katelyn King, Justin King, Nicole Wright and Dylan Wright; and an extended family of aunts, uncles and friends. The family wishes the services to be a private time and appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers during that time. Burial will be in the family plot at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Flowers are appreciated, but for those who wish to make contributions they can be sent in Kathy's memory to the Delaware Hospice House, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
