Kathryn Lynn Brown, 71
MAGNOLIA - Kathryn Lynn Brown passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Delaware Hospice Center.
Mrs. Brown was born August 15, 1949 in Washington, DC to the late George Wayne Bishop and Helen Marie Bishop (Sipe).
She was an educator at the W.T. Chipman School in Harrington, retiring in 2015 after 18 years. Mrs. Brown enjoyed golfing, coaching, and all sports.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Sutter.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald L. Brown of Magnolia; daughter, Jennifer M. Pettry and her husband Ed of Frederica; brother, Gregory Bishop of Ocala, Florida; one grandchild; four nieces; eight great nieces, two great nephews; and thousands of former W.T. Chipman Middle School Students and volleyball players.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Services will be live streamed on Torbert Funeral Chapel's Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/torbertfuneralchapels
