June Alberta Mendenhall, 83
GEORGETOWN - June Alberta Mendenhall, passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, in Harrison Senior Living. She was 83. June was born in Cambridge, Md., daughter of the late Herman Jacob and Addie (Storr) Metz. She was a shipping clerk with Air Pax Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1990. June loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, June is preceded in death by a sister, Lois Sexton. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Robert Mendenhall; two children, Lois Francis of Bridgeville, and Kathy Barnett and husband Curt of Seaford; two grandchildren, Scott Barnett and Rachel Barnett; and three great-grandchildren, Alexia, Katlyn, and Dawson. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Burial will be in McColleys Cemetery, Georgetown.
