Julie Baxendell, 74
MILFORD - Julie Baxendell, died peacefully Monday, Aug. 17, 2009. She was 74. She is survived by her partner of 25 years, Mary Ann Benyo; three children, Becky Baxendell, Lauren Baxendell-DeLecce, and David Baxendell; her sister, Melora Freeland; and her grandson, Zachary DeLecce. A service will be held in celebration of her transition to the Other Side at Peninsula Gallery on Savannah Road, Lewes, from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009. Her ashes will be scattered near her home along the Delaware Bay in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963; or to the Milford Garden Club, for a memorial plot in Julie's honor. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
