Judy S. Witman, 65 MILFORD - Judy S. Witman, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 4, 2010, in her home. She was 65. She was born in Roanoke, Va. She was a R.N. for the State of Delaware, until her retirement. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milford. Her father, George E. Smith, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Russell Witman Jr.; mother, Iris Smith; two daughters and a son-in-law, Beth Zaiser, and Robyn and Jeff Johnson; two stepchildren, Russell Witman III and his wife, Susan and Terri Jones and her husband, Howard; grandchildren, Chloe, Jonah, Kyle, Garrett and Billy; two sisters, Linda Saunders and her husband, Mark and Connie Wilkerson and her husband, David; one brother, Alan Smith and his wife, Sandra Smith; and lots of nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd., Milford, where friends called from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday night, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford. Interment was in Milford Community Cemetery. Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd., Milford, DE 19963.
