GEORGETOWN - Joyce R. Ensminger, 63, of Georgetown, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayheatlh Medical Center. Mrs. Ensminger was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Francis Messick and Frances (Tucker) Messick Meredith. She worked for D.P & L. for 35 years as a customer information specialist before retiring in 2000. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Tina Kemper. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth L. Ensminger; a daughter, Cheryl Warner and her husband Brian; grandchildren, Cailin, Brennah and Trevor, all of Portland, Oregon; a son, Kenny Ensminger Jr. and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Kayla, Tylar and Ethan, all of Seaford; brothers, Tim Messick, Butch Messick and his wife Diana, Stephen Messick and his wife Donna, Don Messick, Terry Messick and his wife Crystal; sisters, Dianne Howell, Patricia Murray, Barbara Rogers and her husband Gary and Sheila Breckner and her husband Kevin; and her best friends, Pam and Randy Harper, who were just like family to her. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
