Joyce Faye Jordan, 69 SEAFORD - Joyce Faye Jordan, age 69, of Seaford, passed away on Dec. 23, 2009, at the Seaford Center. She was a homemaker and mother to her daughters, Susan Steele and Tammy Smith. She is also survived by her brothers, Carlton Whaley Jr., Richard Whaley, and Dennis Whaley; her sisters, Betty Synder, Shirley Colona, Mary Elaine Cullen, Rebecca Poffenberger, Judy Hastings, Diane White, and Dorothy Hurley; and a granddaughter, Taylor Steele. She was preceded in death by siblings, Norman Whaley and Margarette Cook. A Graveside Service was held at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tuesday Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Julie Lewis officiated. The Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel, is serving the Jordan family.
