Joyce Ann Kibler

MARYDEL, Md. - Joyce Ann Kibler, 72, of Marydel, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in the Silver Lake Nursing Home, Dover. She was born on Jan. 24, 1939, in Mullens, W.Va., to the late Oliver and Nellie Sigmend Carroll. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Michael Kibler; three sons, David L. Kibler of Henderson, John Michael Kibler, Jr. of Marydel, Md., and Robert Bryan Kibler of Felton, Del.; two daughters, Audrey D. Kibler and Carolyn Ann Kibler, both of Marydel, Md.; one brother, Oliver Robert Carroll of Marydel, Md.; four sisters, Mary Hutson and Toy Church, both of West Virginia, Viola Carroll of Marydel, Md., and Shelby Edge of Ingleside, Md.; three granddaughters, Malinda Albaese, Rachel Korrel and Lisa Kibler; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Kibler had been a seamstress for the former George Reach, Greensboro Garment Manufacturing and the Delsi Company of Denton. She also assisted her husband, Michael Kibler, with the running of the family business, Kibler Brothers Excavating. They were married on Nov. 14, 1959. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Md.
