GEORGETOWN - Joshua Wesley Vaughn, 40, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Joshua was born in Milford the son of John W. Vaughn, Jr. and Charlotte (West) Vaughn. He was a graduate of Seaford High School and Delaware Technical and Community College with an associates degree in Biomedical Technology. Joshua lived in Germany for a year before coming home to complete his studies. He began his career as a Biomedical Equipment Technician working at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes for seven years before moving to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md., working for Horizon CSA up until he became ill. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and of the N.R.A. He was preceded in death by his sister, Victoria Lorraine Vaughn, in 1971. He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Vaughn; his father, John W. Vaughn, Jr.; his two brothers, John W. Vaughn, III and Jason W. Vaughn and his fiancee' Christina Medford; one nephew, Jason W. Vaughn, Jr.; and niece, Jordan W. Vaughn. A viewing will be held from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
