Josephine Ann Schaller

NEWARK - Josephine Ann Schaller, of Newark, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at home. She was 57. Mrs. Schaller was born March 24, 1954, in Chester, Pa., to Joseph Anthony Grabowski and Betty Jane Stern Grabowski. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Schaller was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Dean A. Schaller; and her daughter, Julia L. Schaller. She is survived by her mother, Betty J. Grabowski of Newark; son, Dean Grabowski and his wife Nichole of Marydel; three sisters, Elizabeth Bowman of Newark, Eileen Bailey of Wilmington, and Geraldine Grabowski of Aston, Pa.; three grandchildren, Madisyn Crockett of Newark, Damian Grabowski of Marydel, and Emily Hall of Newark; nieces and nephews, Chrystal Caulk and Josh Starrett, Nakita Bailey and Gary Bowman. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904 to help defray the funeral costs. Letters of condolence may be sent and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
