DOVER - Joseph Ullrich, of Dover, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Capitol Healthcare. He was 90. Mr. Ullrich was born June 26, 1919, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Peter Michael Ullrich and Ella Newman Ullrich. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. Ullrich worked for the Delaware State Senate as a Journal Clerk retiring in 1971. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover. Mr. Ullrich was preceded in death by, brother, Jerome Ullrich. He is survived by his brother, William Ullrich of Westminster, Md.; five nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, where friends may call from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901; or charity of your choice. Letters of condolence may be sent and guest register signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
