MILTON - Joseph P. Farrell, of Milton, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, in his home. He was 80. Joseph was born in Felton, son of the late James Edward and Elizabeth (Carlisle) Farrell. He was a carpenter and had worked for Custom Framers and more recently with First State Community Action, in Georgetown. Joseph was an Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Dear; and two brothers, Victor and Bobby Farrell. He is survived by four children, Barbara, Jackie, Joseph and Kenny; four brothers, Charles, Cliff, James E. and Johnnie Farrell; grandchildren, Jake and Heather; great granddaughter, Shelby; a close friend, Shirley Arno; and a host of other grandchildren and extended family. A funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
