Joseph O. Morgan, 85 MILLSBORO - Joseph O. Morgan, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010, in his home. He was 85. He was born May 24, 1924 in Seaford, to the late Leroy and Mae Hall Morgan. He worked for over 25 years driving a truck and before retiring he did maintenance work for One Virginia Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. He loved spending time with his family and his hobbies were bowling and fishing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Morgan in 2005; and a brother, Frank Morgan. He is survived by five sons and one daughter, Joseph Morgan Jr. of Tennessee, James Morgan and wife, Lynn of Maryland, Richard and Sharon Morgan of Frankford, Gerald Morgan and Robert Morgan, both of Millsboro, and Kathleen Hebeler and husband, Joe of Virginia; seven grandchildren, one of whom he was close to, Cami Morgan of Ellendale; two great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters; and two close friends of the family, Valerie Halfen of Newark and Debbie Rickards of Selbyville. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
