Joseph Kochel Sr.

DOVER - Joseph Kochel, Sr., passed away, Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at home. Mr. Kochel was born Dec. 30, 1936 in Camden, S.C. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Kochel worked as an auto mechanic for 39 years before retiring. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dover. Mr. Kochel enjoyed camping, working in his garden and being with his church friends the "Keen Agers". He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jacqueline Ebersole Kochel, of Dover; daughters, Terry Wegner and her husband, Donald, of Milford, Sharon McDonald, of Seaford; sons, Joseph, Jr. and Jeffrey, of Florida; grandchildren, Tony Ledbetter, Brian Harper, Deanna Guzman, Christina Ocampo and her husband, Vincent, and Jaqueline Wilson and her husband, James; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Services will be private. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
