Joseph Heckert Frazer

DOVER - Joseph Heckert Frazer, III passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
Mr. Frazer was born Oct. 7, 1947 in Wilmington to the late Joseph and Helen Frazer.
He served in the United States Air Force for 15 years and then the United States Navy for four years. After his military career he was a police officer for St. Michaels and Denton Maryland for ten years. He then went to work for Delaware Veterans Home in Milford for eight years as security retiring in 2017. Mr. Frazer enjoyed hunting, mostly migratory birds and was a member of Ducks Unlimited. Mr. Frazer was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
Mr. Frazer is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joyce Schuyler Frazer of Dover; children, Laura Waul (Greg) of Edmond, Okla., Heather Woodfin (Christopher) of Sharptown, Md., Chris Haynes (Carol) of Linn Creek, Mo. and Brian Haynes (Jessica) of Union, Mo.; brother, James Frazer (Nan) of Dover; grandchildren, Julihannah, William, Emily, Hunter and Brooke.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
