Joseph Clarence Parker, 79

GEORGETOWN - Joseph Clarence Parker, age 79, of Georgetown, passed away on Aug. 9, 2009, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Joseph served 33 year with J.C. Penny as an Advertising manager. He was a skilled display manager who created excellent arrangements. He loved the outdoors, and flowers, water, and the ocean. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elva West Parker. He is survived by his wife of 55 yrs, Norma Thompson Parker; daughter, Susan Lisa Parker of Georgetown; six brothers, Ralph and Richard, of Laurel, Dale of Blades, Jerry, Donald, and James of Georgetown; three sisters, Janet Ware of Georgetown, Patricia Harris of Seaford, and Doris Moore of Laurel. A Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 13, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. Burial will be in Millsboro Cemetery, Millsboro.
