HOUSTON - Joseph C. George, of Houston, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. He was 79. He is survived by his sons, Wayne George of Texas, Greg George of Magnolia, and Terry George and his wife Jackie of Felton; daughters, Karen Kitchen of Dover, and Jan Johnson and her husband Joseph of Florida; grandchildren, Mariah Gebhart, Jody George, and Joey George; great-grandchildren, Payton and Olivia Gebhart; and his faithful dog, Rascal. Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in the Houston United Methodist Church, Houston. Interment was in Hollywood Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington.
