MILTON - Johnny Ray Honaker 'Whiteboy' went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2015, surrounded by many loved ones at Christiana Hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1968 in Wilmington, Del. Johnny Ray was an adventurous man who loved the thrills of life. He was a very talented artist, painter, drag racer and a true genuine soul who would always be there for anyone anytime. He listened to a wide variety of music but had a true love for country and the color purple. His favorite song was always Amazing Grace. He was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Honaker. He is survived by his parents, Bernard and Cynthia Honaker; sister, Terry Lysinger and husband, William Lysinger, III; wife of 6 years, Ellen Fitzgerald; daughters, Tiffany Powell and Tabatha Allen; nieces, Heather Scott; nephews, Michael, Matthew and Mark Lysinger; grandsons, Damien Haynie, Peyton Patrick, Jr; Aunt and Uncle, Brenda and Wayne Campbell; lifelong friend, Charles Harkins and many more aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, friends, family and loved ones. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may come from 12 to 2 p.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
