Mr. John Woodrow Goff, Jr., better known as "Jack" of Wilkesboro passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home.
Private services will be held at North Wilkesboro First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Goff was born November 2, 1936 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to John Woodrow Goff, Sr. and Helen Spragg Goff. He was a member of North Wilkesboro First United Methodist Church. He served four years and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth (Tudy) Goff; and two brothers, Frances (Babe) Goff and Donald Goff.
He is survived by his wife of 59-1/2 years, Gladys Kerr Cameron Goff of the home; two daughters, Tammy Goff Love and Jack McLarney of North Wilkesboro, Teresa Goff Kearney and Steve of Southlake, Texas; a son, Wayne Goff and Renee' of Wilkesboro; seven grandchildren, Paige Love of Asheville, Trent Love of Cullowhee, Zachary Kearney, Alex Kearney and Avery Kearney all of Southlake, Texas, McKenzie Goff of Knoxville, Tenn., Savanna Goff of Wilkesboro; and a sister, Lucie Goff Coleman and Sonny of Adena, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Wilkesboro First United Methodist Church Emergency Fund, PO Box 1145, North Wilkesboro, NC or The John Woodrow Goff, Jr. Scholarship Fund for Construction Education, c/o Edward Jones, 126 Executive Drive, Suite 240, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
