John J. Young, 69

FENWICK ISLAND - John J. Young, of Fenwick Island, formerly of Newark, passed away on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md. He was 69. John was a devoted family man who deeply loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, E. Suzanne (Holland) Young; a son, John W. Young Sr. and his wife Celeste of Middletown; a daughter, Judy Stoneberger and her husband Jeffrey of Middletown; four grandchildren, John W. Young Jr., Brad L. Young, Aleisha Stoneberger, and Jeffrey Stoneberger Jr.; and numerous friends. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Ave., Ocean View. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in John's name to the American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
